SCHOOL IS NOT OUR LIFE

Everyone knows that school is important for our lives, but that does not mean that it should be the only thing we think about. In my opinion, too many people put too much focus on school and think their value depends on their grades.

Why is it good to do something you enjoy when you come from school?
Most adults think that when you come home, you should go and study or do your homework straight away. But for most of us it is quite the opposite. You do not want to come home and think about the stressful week that is approaching. Students would rather hang out with their friends , family or go practice different hobbies. When you do that, you can socialize and communicate with different people. Whatever your hobby might be, from running, dancing, basketball or even simply reading a book, it will reset your mind from the school work you either did or have to do.

With having a life out of school, the important thing is to know how to juggle school and everyday life.
I think making an everyday plan is the key. After you come from school, get either a piece of paper or your planner and write down the things you have to do that day. You also have to manage your time. If you know you have to study a lot or have a lot of homework, limit your time at practice. Sometimes you can even find some help from someone that attends the same activity as you and they can help you with a certain subject.

Always remember that if you want to succeed in life, school is definitely a priority, but do not forget to take a rest from it. It is important to know that you are more than the grades you get in school.

SLEEP

It’s six A.M

I overslept again,

school is starting soon,

I just wanna sleep till noon.

I get up exhausted,

and pour myself a coffee,

getting ready for another day,

of my mind drifting away.

Did we have homework?

Do we have a test?

I just wanna go home and rest.

I can’t wait for the long summer days,

when I can stay at my place,

look up to space,

and rest away.
